Lofty Word Creative, my design company, has officially launched it’s new website and is ready for your viewing. Please head on over and take a look. If you have any projects coming up, let us know, we would love to discuss how we can help you accomplish them.
It’s May again, and if you don’t already know, that mean Moustaches. Moustaches of all kinds and shapes, grown by only the best of the best. Well, okay, maybe not the best of the best, but by a bunch of swell dudes. Head on over to the Moustache May webstite and take a look and some of the glorious facial hair!
Been up for a few hours, it’s now 5:30 am. I wasn’t able to sleep with this stupid cold I have. I think it’s on it’s way out, but it’s been a crappy few days. Since I wasn’t able to sleep I figured I would try and catch up on some work. I’ve made a few tweaks to the website that I’ve been thinking about for awhile:
I’m also thinking about changing the main font color, or background. I’m worried that the text might be a little bit on the “hard-to-read” side being white. Has anyone had any issues reading the content at all?
Anyway, it’s late, or early, so I’m back to bed for a little bit before work. Hopefully when I wake up, these changes will still make sense and look good. I’d be upset if they were simply cold induced decisions. We’ll see.
The new season of Life In Neutral is live. We are not starting the actual game until Monday, but everyone is rip-rearing to go. We have quite a few more players this time, but we’ll see how many last. You wouldn’t think 90 days was much of a commitment, but some people just can’t handle it. Hopefully everyone will stick it out and it will just continue to grow. It’s a pretty simple concept and can be fun keeping tabs on everyones’ progress.
Come check it out and comment as you see fit: Life In Neutral
One of my christmas presents was a brand new Holga 35mm camera. It’s essentially a plastic toy that can take photographs, but I love it. It produces some very artistic photos due to it’s simplicity. So far I’ve gone through two rolls of film, but haven’t gotten too many decent shots. It’s a little tricky in low light and I’m still finding it’s groove. That and it’s quite expensive to shoot in film when your so used to digital.
I’d like to shoot a roll or two a month, just something to keep the creativity flowing. Here are a few of the more interesting shots from the last few trials:
I celebrated the new year in South Lake Tahoe with friends. My girlfriend and I both celebrated birthdays over the weekend, which made it even more fun. So far it’s not so different, except I keep writing “09″ in my dates. I’m sure that will happen for awhile to come. Quite allot happened over the last year, which I won’t get into here, but I’m excited for the new year and the possibilities it will bring. I have quite a few plans, personally and business minded, so let’s get on with it!
Happy New Year to all!
