I’ve started a new project that I’m excited about. I’m calling it 400×400, creating some type of painting, drawing, sketch within the dimensions of 400×400 pixels. Simply put, it’s going to allow me to be more creative and get back to some of my artistic roots, while keeping a structure that I need to stay focused.

Here is my first piece entitled “Bushtit”. Now, get your mind out of the gutter, that is really the birds name, which I of course find humorous. I created this piece using an old Wacom tablet I borrowed from my brother. I haven’t used a tablet in quite awhile and this was my first creative attempt in years. I’m actually quite satisfied with the result and am excited about getting back into more work of this nature.

I plan on making this an ongoing project with no rhyme or reason. Just something that allows me to work and flush out creative ideas that I can’t fulfill with corporate work. Stay tuned for more.
